UNHAPPY DAY

TODAY REALLY UNHAPPY
FIRST IS BEING SUFFERING BY THE HAIR CUT.
SECOND IS MY WORK...
TODAY FACE A LOT OF GUEST PROBLEMS
1) H/KEEPING RUNNER MAKE ME WANNA EXPLODE
2) QATAY CREW COMPLAINT OF NOISY CUZ OF RENOVATION
3) GUEST WANT MAKE UP ROOM BUT AFTER HALF HOUR
HE WANT BELL SERVICE FOR CHECK OUT
BUT LUGGAGE DOWN PEOPLE DIDN'T WENT TO CHECK OUT
THEN MAKE ME CONFUSED
1 HOUR LATER LUGGAGE DOWN ALREADY STILL WANT
LUGGAGE DOWN AGAIN
HOW MANY LUGGAGE THE GUEST HAVE..
STUPID...
4) THEN SAME QATAY CREW CALL AGAIN SAID THAT TOILET WATER FLEAKING AND FLOATING THEN I STRAIGHT AWAY INFORM TO 'GSM'
5) H/KEEPING WRONGLY INFORM LOST AND FOUND
6) LAUNDRY DEPARTMENT LOST THE CLOTHES THAT GUEST SENT
ALTHOUGHT NOT MY FAULT
BUT
I STILL NEED KEPT SAYING
'I DO APOLOGIZE SIR/MADAM'
I WILL HELP U TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS HAPPENING

MY FUTURE ALREADY MAKE ME SO MISERABLE AGAIN
I AM CRYING CUZ WORRING OF MY FUTURE
CAN SOMEONE SHARE MY FEELING
TALK TO ME.

fever

work midnite shift
make me fever and sour throat
sick for 2 day
and
after two day just went to consult doctor
then
get 1 day mc
work nite shift really tired
and
high risk to get warning letter
cuz need to do a lot of wake up call
once u miss 1 wake up call reminder
u need to pay for the flight tickets
although i was sick
cempaka here just got spicy food only
make me need to eat these kind of food
although i was sick
haizzz
luckily now recover much

for this chinese new year
went to sing-k
watched movie
and
ate a lot of delicious food as well
kl really is my heaven
nice
i dislike midnight shift
11pm-7am
cuz i don't want alone-ing

today stand at front desk for 3 hour
cuz they need me be a translator for china guest
after be a translator at front desk
GSM ( guest service manager)
give me a list of room and
call me go to each floor to check
which room is
occupied clean
dirty
or
clean
she issued me a master key
hehe quite fun also
but very scary
cuz some room when i first open d door
it's very dark and scary
i straight away switch on all the light
so that i won't be that scary hehe
after finish i report to gsm again
after finish i back to service 1 again
today learned a new things also

miss 1 wake up call reminder
i need pay back the flight tickets to the guest
omg

i also learn how to check air-cond temp
from computer system
and how to check telephone line

9 feb 2010
today morning tour in pan pacific hotel
we walked around the hotel
and joke down some note
i really learned a lot of things at here
although it was very pressuring
now i can handle call
and able communicate v guest
i also can
transfer line more faster than before
really happy
today i also arrange to bell service
for 4 hour
legs really pain and hurt
got one old couple guest that come from BEIJING
cuz of delay flight and stay in our hotel
that time they dun understad english and malay
cuz of that
i become translator for them
after explain all the things to them
i bring their luggage to their rum
and show them how to use the card in order to
on the light in their room
really happy cuz can help people

11 feb
today when for training
although a bit meaningless
but i think this meeting should attend by senior
cuz i just a trainee
and can't give so many opinion
at the same time
i aslo happy that the time for morning shift past very fast
12 feb
today early in the morning reception suddenly call me
and ask me explain to the china guest about the check in procedure and
packages that included to the guest
after few minute
reception ask my superior to allow me help front desk for1 hour
finally i become one of the mandarin traslator at pan pacific hotel
i really learn a lot of things...
really
and thank for the people who always take care me..

feel a bit pressure
as a front office (service operator)
first week already alone answer call
and
all the work must handle it wisely
if not. easy to get warning letter
as a operator everything also need to handle
FILL UP lost and found FORM AND KEY IN TO COMPUTER
send message to housekeeping runner
from FSC SYSTEM (FOLLOW UP CALL SYSTEM)
need to pick up phone AND give
airport information
teach them how to use online cable
give transport information
transfer call to guest room
check airline crew list
laundry pickup/ return
provide hotel information
provide delay flight information
wake up call reminder
call to maintenance to repair internal damage
call to runner make sure his job is done
call to perfect room make repair guest room bulb fuel and other
call to room service to take order
pass extension line to reception for check in/out
pass extension line reservation
pass extension line to health spa and other shop
need to check group arrival/ VIP arrival
do event board and briefing sheet
and
many many things
why first month i already got 3 type of shift
first week afternoon 3pm-11pm
second week morning 7am-3am
thirth week 11pm-7am
last week of the month afternoon shift again
got few day work 10hour and 12 hour a day
i just first week at here le...
need to know so many things
i not god
